I-24 West in Rutherford County reopens after crash

The westbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Rutherford County reopened Saturday night after they were shut down due to a crash.

The wreck occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. at mile maker 70, near Almaville Road.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured.

All of the westbound lanes were closed, as well as one of the eastbound lanes.

The roadway was cleared by 9:30 p.m.

No other details about the crash were immediately released.
