Friday Night Live concert June 4

As the hot temperatures can attest, it is summertime in Murfreesboro. That means the nonprofit Main Street Murfreesboro is in full event mode downtown!

Friday, June 4, is the first of the summer season’s four FREE Friday Night Live concerts on the square. Scheduled for the first Friday of June, July, August, and September, the concerts have become a monthly community party downtown. Bring your lawn chairs and join the fun from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The June 4th event features the Middle Tennessee band Entice, playing the greatest music from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and today.

On Friday, July 2, Skyline Drive will take the stage. This nine-piece band performs anything from pop to soul, jazz, rock, Motown hits and more. August 6, Higher Ground will be performing downtown with their high energy dance and party band playing Top 40/Pop, Classic Rock, Oldies and Variety songs. Finishing the 2021 season out on September 3 for True Blue Weekend is the Nashville based band Good Rockin’ Tonight. This 1950’s Rock and Rockabilly Tribute band performs the most influential songs in Rock and Roll history. This show will take you back to a time where people recorded songs in a day, danced at the sock hop, dressed sharp and created some of the greatest music the world has ever heard.

Special thanks to all our participating sponsors including presenting sponsor for the Friday Night Live 2021 series Wilson Bank and Trust, and monthly sponsors T-Mobile, Michael Busey State Farm, and Middle Tennessee State University. Main Street Murfreesboro works to maintain, enhance, and promote the historic downtown as the heart of our community. All of Main Street events are free to the public and family friendly.
