UFIT ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF NEW PERSONAL TRAINER Harris brings more than 15 years’ experience to local fitness team

Ufit Personal Fitness is growing! The Murfreesboro-based fitness studio recently announced the addition of David Harris, CSCS, to its ever-growing team of personal trainers.

Harris joins Ufit with more than 15 years of professional experience in the physical fitness field. The McMinnville-native earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of Tennessee Knoxville and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. This certification designates professionals who apply scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance.

“We are thrilled to have David bring such a high level of experience and acumen to the coaching team,” Ufit co-owner Chris Maxey said. “His athletic background and education is exactly what we aim to provide for our clients.”

Prior to joining Ufit, Harris worked to rehabilitate previously-injured patients of a Middle Tennessee chiropractic office through corrective exercises. He also previously trained middle and high school athletes to increase their speed and agility through boot camps and fitness testing.

A natural athlete himself, Harris has always had an interest in how the body works. Through his knowledge of muscle movement, he can effectively train clients to prevent injury while increasing their health and wellness – and teach them how to care for themselves.

“I want to hear people say, ‘I feel better than I’ve ever felt in my life,’” Harris said. “I want people to get to the point that they don’t need me anymore and that they can do it on their own, should they choose to do so.”
