Science Café: The Science of Baseball

Get ready for a home run as Dr. Ricardo Valerdi, founder of the Science of Sportand consultant to a multitude of national sports teams, discusses how baseball can bring science, technology, engineering, and math to life for K-12 students. All Access Night

All Access Nights are a time when Discovery Center is open for special needs families only. Explore the new Big League Fun exhibit, meet a few Discovery Center animals, and refuel for more play with a quick snack. All Access Nights are free of charge, but do require an RSVP. Discovery After Dark: The Pirate Code
Thursday, June 29  |  7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
Avast! Join Captain Jack’s crew and set sail for a grand adventure at Discovery Center. This pirate themed evening for adults 21 and over is for the inner swashbuckler in everyone. Free yourself from your landlubber ways and don your finest pirate attire to join us for high seas science hands-on activities, a costume contest, and adult beverages. Must be 21 or older to attend.
