2024 Philanthropist and Physician Champion Award Winners

The Seventeenth Annual Society Gala is held annually to express gratitude to donors contributing $1,000 or more within the calendar year to the Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation. During this event, the Foundation recognized exceptional philanthropists, including Beth and Mike Ussery, recipients of the Dr. Liz Rhea Philanthropist Award, and Dr. Christopher Dunlap, honored with the ASTR Foundation Physician Champion Award.

“Gratitude filled our hearts as we reflect on the support from our incredible community, who wholeheartedly believe in our mission,” said Gina DeJean, Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation Director. Throughout this past year, the generous funds we receive ensures that everyone in our community will have access to spiritually-centered care for years to come. As we gathered to express our deepest thanks to our donors, we recognized that their contributions are the essence of our foundation. Without their dedication and generosity, our vital work would not be possible. The evening was a joyous celebration of the profound impact made possible by these remarkable individuals.”
