The 42nd Annual ‘Uncle Dave Macon Days’ and more ‘In the City’ this month

The 42nd Annual Uncle Dave Macon Days returns to Cannonsburgh Village, July 12-13. “In the City” features the official announcement of this year’s world class musical talent.

In the City is hosted by multimedia journalist Michael Linn White and produced by Steve Burris every month in the studios located at Murfreesboro City Hall.

The June edition of “In the City” also features the following stories:

Baseball is back at Murfreesboro’s field of dreams as a new season of ‘Miracle League’ features the caring heart of Middle Tennessee and the David Price Foundation at McKnight Park.

‘Noah’s Heart Ministries’ continues its amazing work for the homeless, a ministry that began when 12-year-old Noah Gaines was just eight. Inspired by young Noah’s compassion, see what a City Councilman and developer are doing to make sure Noah’s Heart keeps getting bigger.

Get a first look inside the City’s newest school, Salem Elementary, as CityTV joins a tour of the facility.

Watch local students compete in Drone Championships sponsored by one of the only elementary school programs in the region. Learn how the MCS drone program is not only fun but about training future pilots.

Patterson Park Community Center is more than a sports facility. It also comes alive with ‘Perform Murfreesboro,’ the City Parks and Recreation Department children’s theater program.

The June 2019 episode is airing on CityTV throughout the month or anytime on YouTube and Facebook.
