Civil Air Patrol Cadets Explore STEM Careers at MTSU Summer Academy
Civil Air Patrol cadets spent a week at Middle Tennessee State University gaining hands-on experience in engineering, technology, aviation, physics, and data science through MTSU's STEM Summer Academy.
The weeklong program gave students the opportunity to tour research labs, work alongside university faculty, complete engineering projects, and explore potential career paths in STEM fields. For many cadets, the experience also introduced MTSU as a top college choice for the future.
Organizers hope the partnership between Civil Air Patrol and MTSU will continue, giving more students the chance to experience college life while discovering exciting careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
