Curry Up Now Grand Opening, with Free Meals for a Year

Curry Up Now, an Indian fast-casual concept known for traditional yet playful fare and creative twists, is expanding to Middle Tennessee with a location in Smyrna. The eatery is hosting a grand opening celebration on August 22, beginning at 11 a.m. Festivities include a live DJ, a henna artist, a photo booth and a prize wheel, where guests can spin to win t-shirts, mugs, gift cards, and much more–including grand prizes of free Curry Up Now meals for a year. 

The restaurant will be hosting a burrito cutting at 11 a.m. on the day of the grand opening, which will be a wonderful opportunity for photos, and the first 250 guests in attendance will receive free burritos.

Originally a food truck created by Akash and Rana Kapoor in 2009, Smyrna’s Curry Up Now is locally owned and operated by the Patel family, Smyrna residents for over 20 years. The eatery has gained a significant following for its traditional Indian menu—with vegetarian, vegan and halal options—as well as playful takes on favorites like the widely loved Naughty Naan.

Curry Up Now Smyrna will also notably house a full-service bar called Mortar and Pestle, featuring an expansive yet carefully curated cocktail program.
