Music Inspired By Community – August 18th Songwriters Event
Music Inspired By Community (M.I.C.) is excited to announce the lineup for its upcoming InSession Songwriters Night, taking place on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Just Love Coffee Cafe, located at 129 MTCS Rd in Murfreesboro. Doors open at 5:40 PM, with live music starting at 6:00 PM.
The August 18th showcase highlights six exceptional artists performing in a songwriters round format, giving audiences an intimate, behind-the-scenes look into the stories and inspiration behind their original music.
M.I.C. is particularly proud to emphasize three featured Murfreesboro local songwriters on the bill: Haydn Palmer, Nevaeh Greenslate, and Tessa James. Bringing local talent to the forefront remains a core element of the M.I.C. mission, showcasing the deep artistic roots present right here in Rutherford County.
Joining Palmer, Greenslate, and James on stage are featured artists Meredith Aguirre, Kyle Cruse, and Kendall Hill, completing a diverse lineup that spans compelling lyricism and dynamic vocal performances.
Just Love Coffee Cafe will be offering full food menu service until 7:00 PM, with drink options available through 7:30 PM.

M.I.C. nights will be the third Tuesday of each month with InSession Artist Spotlight Events (such as Songwriters nights), Amplifying Non-Profit Nights, or Quiet The Static Recovery Focus Nights.
