Night Sounds Hike at Barfield Crescent Park

An after-dark walk at Barfield Crescent Park, led by the Wilderness Station staff, where the point is to stop talking and listen. Late summer is peak season for katydids, crickets and owls, and kids who think they are bored outside tend to change their minds once the flashlights go off. Free for all ages – just bring bug spray and shoes that can handle a trail in the dark.
