Murfreesboro Cold Patrol Helping the Homeless Find Housing, Hope and a Fresh Start
Murfreesboro Cold Patrol is doing much more than helping people survive cold winter nights. This local nonprofit is working year-round to help individuals experiencing homelessness find permanent housing, employment, addiction recovery services and a path toward a better future.
We sat down with Jordan, Executive Director of Murfreesboro Cold Patrol, to learn more about the organization's mission, the lives they're changing and how the Rutherford County community can get involved.
Jordan shares inspiring success stories, discusses the challenges of helping people experiencing homelessness during extreme heat and cold, and explains why building trust is such an important part of their outreach efforts.
We also discuss the organization's upcoming inaugural fundraising luncheon, which will honor the memory of fundraising chair Amy Kaine.
