Ava Miller obituary
Ava M. Miller, age 94, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was a native of Jackson County, TN and was a daughter of the late Eular and Euna McCoin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Miller, a son, Craig Miller, and nine siblings.
Survivors include daughters, Cindy Jackson and husband Joe of Nashville, Carolyn Walker and husband Van of Lake Junaluska, NC; grandchildren, Rebecca Lauderdale (Jim), John Jackson (Kassi) and Kevin Jackson (Lindsay Green), all of Nashville, Miller Walker (Sawyer Hicks) of Dallas, TX, Katie Walker (Alex McCloud) of Colorado Springs, CO, Reagan Walker of Dallas; great grandsons Anthony and Theodore Jackson; sister, Mazell Tambornini of Murfreesboro, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Miller was a longtime member of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, and an active member of the Charity Circle of Murfreesboro. She served in the Women’s Army Corps during WWII.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 9:30 until the time of memorial services beginning at 11:00 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Father Joseph Patrick Breen officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
