Barret Firearms breaks ground on new Murfreesboro headquarters

TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter joined Gov. Bill Lee, U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn and other leaders to break ground on Barrett Firearms Mfg, Inc’s new $76 million Manufacturing and Technology Campus in Murfreesboro.

The project will create 183 new jobs in Rutherford County and serve as the company’s global firearms manufacturing hub and the future U.S. headquarters of NIOA.
