Behind The Badge 4th Quarter Edition 2020

Citizens can safely dispose of their unused and expired prescription drugs by making a trip to the lobby of the Murfreesboro Police Department. The latest episode with Public Information Officer Larry Flowers also features military veterans walking across the country, bringing awareness of veterans who may be experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

‘Behind the Badge’ is airing on Murfreesboro CityTV throughout the upcoming months, features:

  • Drug-take back boxes are an easy way for residents to safely get rid of unused and expired prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
  • Two military veterans are pounding the pavement bringing awareness to other veterans and public safety workers who may experience PTSD.
  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tennessee Emergency Numbers Association (TENA) held its 2020 Educational Conference virtually. TENA honored two Murfreesboro Emergency Communications Center employees.

The ‘Behind the Badge’ October 2020 episode is hosted by Public Information Officer Larry Flowers and produced by Michael Nevills quarterly at the Murfreesboro Police Department headquarters building.
