Behind The Badge June 2022 Episode
Three Murfreesboro Police Department officers receive the Jerry Anderson Hero Award for helping to save the life of a baby. The latest episode of ‘Behind The Badge’ with Public Information Officer Larry Flowers also features honoring fallen officers as part of National Police Memorial Week, and Teens Citizens Police Academy students getting a behind the scenes look and inner-workings of the police department.
‘Behind the Badge’ is airing on Murfreesboro CityTV throughout the upcoming months and features:
- Three MPD officers receive a hero award for saving the life of an infant.
- MPD paused to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice – their lives.
- Law enforcement officers raised awareness Special Olympics during the 2022 Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics Games.
- High School students participate in the very first Teen Citizens Police Academy.
