Big Bad Breakfast Coming to Murfreesboro Square at Former City Cafe Location

There’s a big restaurant update in Downtown Murfreesboro. Big Bad Breakfast is officially planned for the former City Cafe location right off the Murfreesboro Square.

For a long time, the restaurant was expected to open in the new development on Veterans Parkway near Highway 96, alongside businesses like Waldo’s Chicken, Taziki’s, and Vui’s Kitchen. However, plans have changed and that space is now expected to become a dentist office instead.

The new home for Big Bad Breakfast will be the old City Cafe building, bringing the popular breakfast and brunch spot right into the heart of downtown.
