Big Changes Coming to Old Fort Parkway

Major upgrades are coming to Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro! The city has secured funding to widen the road to six lanes, three in each direction, from the bridge over Broad Street all the way to I-24. This long-term project, slated for 2030, will also tackle one of the city’s most frustrating traffic spots: the intersection by Target, Panera Bread, and Dutch Bros.

While we’re still waiting on design details, this is a big step toward easing congestion in one of Murfreesboro’s busiest areas. Stay tuned for updates as more information is released!
