Boaters Unite! Cleanup on the East Fork/Walter Hill

Experienced paddlers, join Bob Landham, a clean water advocate and experienced float leader, and Parks and Rec’s Natural Resource crew on the East Fork for a morning of stewardship. You will float from Walter Hill to Mona and collect any items that don’t belong there. Meet at Mona boat ramp on Saturday June 8th at 8am.

This is a 3-Hour float, please prepare for that: Bring your own boat and life vest (required), water, snacks, sunscreen and gloves. Garbage bags will be supplied.

Thanks to Stones River Kayak & Canoe Rentals, LLC for volunteering to provide shuttle service for this event! Please meet at Mona Boat Ramp and shuttle to Walter Hill. They will also be offering kayaks and canoes at discounted rates for anyone who would like to participate but does not have a boat.
