All proceeds will go to Homes for Our Troops. HFOT is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that builds homes for service members who have been severely injured in combat since Sept. 11, 2001. Each home is specially made for a severely injured veteran. This year, we are raising funds for Sergeant Brian Camacho who is building his home right here in Murfreesboro, TN. Sergeant Camacho was wounded in Iraq and returned home paralyzed from the waist down. Then, while in his accessible vehicle, he slipped on ice and crashed. The result of the accident left him paralyzed from the neck down.

The homes cost approximately $430,000 to build, with each room costing around $5,000. The Bounce Back Golf Scramble is being held to help the organization build homes for service members from Tennessee.

Hosted by the Middle Tennessee State University’s Leisure, Sport and Tourism Studies Program Planning class.
