Murfreesboro Buc-ee’s Traffic Lights Update
Quick update from the Buc-ee’s area off Joe B. Jackson Pkwy and I-24. Three new traffic lights have been installed at the intersections of Elam Road, Butler Drive, and both eastbound and westbound I-24 ramps. These signals have been in flash mode for about a week, but they’re scheduled to go fully operational sometime today.
Once activated, the city will be monitoring and adjusting timing to help improve traffic flow and accommodate local patterns. Keep in mind that TDOT and Buc-ee’s crews are still working nearby, so you’ll still see cones, barrels, and possible slowdowns while construction continues.
These new signals should help ease congestion and reduce bottleneck issues in the area, so be aware, drive safely, and stay patient as everything gets finalized.
