Carie Ann Jolley Obituary

Ms. Carie Ann Jolley, age 40, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully and surrounded by family Monday, January 20, 2020. She was born in Warren, MI to Richard, Sr. and Evrene Powers Janes on December 14, 1979. Carie was a 1998 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield, KY. She worked in the accounting department for NHC. Carie was a faithful member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. She was the devoted mother to Kylie and Jaydon Jolley, and she loved her children more than anything.
Carie Ann Jolley was a light. She might have been a tiny woman, but she was strong, courageous, and brave in her faith and in life. Honest, compassionate, loyal, joyful, faith-filled, and peaceful; these are just some of the many ways her loved ones described her. Carie was calm in the storms life brought, she was unwavering in her faith and hope until her last breath. Carie loved being a mother, and Kylie and Jaydon were her heart, beaming every time she spoke about her children. Friendship with Carie was felt in such a deep way, intentional and present in her friendships and with her family. She was a great listener, a comforting presence, and had a smile that lit up a room. Carie Ann Jolley left an imprint on the hearts of all who knew her. The inspiration she was and the legacy of faith and love she left behind will not be forgotten.
Carie is survived by her children, Kylie and Jaydon Jolley of Murfreesboro; parents, Richard, Sr. and Evrene Janes of Mayfield; two brothers, Richard Janes, Jr. (RJ) and his wife Nicole of Murray, KY and Cody Janes of Mayfield; and grandmother, Mary Power of Roseville, MI.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at North Boulevard Church of Christ with visitation one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, it was Carie’s request that donations be made to the trust of her children for their future. Donations can be made through any Franklin Synergy Bank, with funds made out to The Jolley Children.
Arrangements by Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN.
