City Council Meeting scheduled for June 12 at City Hall
The Murfreesboro City Council will meet in a regular meeting at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Murfreesboro City Hall, to review and consider the proposed FY20 Budget ordinance on ‘First Reading’. The meeting will be televised in Council Chambers, 111 West Vine Street, 37133.
Who: The Murfreesboro City Council and staff.
What: The Council will gather to review the Proposed FY20 Budget, and pass and adopt the city’s Appropriation and Tax Rate Ordinances, along with Resolutions for post-employment benefits and adoption of budgets for Water Resources Department, Electric Department, Stormwater Utility Management, City Schools, and Evergreen Cemetery.
Council will also discuss economic development planning.

On June 6, 2019, City Council conducted a Public Hearing on the FY 2019-20 Budget ordinance, tax rate and appropriation ordinances. Budget Review sessions were held with staff in April, May and June.
