County Commissioner Endorse Mayor Cole

City of La Vergne Mayor Jason Cole today announced that he has received the endorsement of County Commissioner for District 5, Commissioner Laura Davidson.

“I’m proud to endorse Mayor Jason Cole for re-election as Mayor for the City of La Vergne. I have lived in La Vergne for more than 20 years and seen firsthand Mayor Cole’s commitment and dedication to the people of La Vergne. He is at every event and activity ranging from visits to our Senior Center, lunch with residents of AHEPA to helping with student activities at local schools. If anyone in the community needs assistance Mayor Cole is the first to step up and help.,” says Commissioner Davidson.

“On top of all of that he is active in recruiting new retail and new jobs to our community. Mayor Cole is the first mayor in years that has had an active role in recruiting new businesses to La Vergne.,” adds Commissioner Davidson.

Cole decided to seek this re-election to continue to build upon the successes that the city has already accomplished. “We have brought in significant business to the City of La Vergne including the re-location of ICEE’s headquarters from California, 2 new Amazon facilities, Paper Chef, Cardinal Health’s expansion, as well as Tennessee’s first BJ’s Wholesale, Dairy Queen, Sherwin Williams and more,” said Mayor Cole. “It is important that we continue moving the city forward with more infrastructure improvements, quality of life improvements and retail growth. We have the momentum in our favor and now is not the time to take our foot off the gas with a change of leadership.,” says Mayor Cole.
