CPT Simon Lawson obituary

CPT Simon Lawson, US Army (Ret.), age 81, of Hendersonville, TN passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was born in Demopolis, AL to the late Johnson Lawson, Sr. and Ollie Smith Lawson. CPT Lawson proudly served his country in the United States Army for over 20 years. He then worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as an investigator.

CPT Lawson is survived by his son, Greg Lawson and his wife Tracy Lawson of Antioch, TN; grandchildren, Jenn, Kerri Ann, DJ, Clarisse, and Lauren; siblings, Mary, Sarah, Emily, Rosie, and Fred and his wife Carol; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lawson, and a brother, Johnson Lawson, Jr.

Burial of CPT Lawson’s cremated remains with Military Honors will take place at Nashville National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00am.
