Through performances, cultural presentations, and community events, the group fosters cultural education, community engagement, and intergenerational connection. Their mission is to provide opportunities for children, families, and community members to learn about and appreciate Indigenous traditions while promoting cultural pride, unity, and respect.
“One of the goals of the Murfreesboro Saturday Market is to create experiences that bring people together while celebrating the diversity of our community,” said Linda Weeks, the Murfreesboro Saturday Market Manager. “We're excited to welcome Danza Azteca Quetzalli to downtown Murfreesboro and provide visitors with an opportunity to experience an important cultural tradition.”
The Murfreesboro Saturday Market is known for connecting residents and visitors with local farmers, artisans, and small businesses.
