Delores Maria Merritt Cubbage obituary

Delores Maria Merritt Cubbage, age 63 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Saturday August 4, 2018. She was a native of Rutherford County, and was preceded in death by her father, Jesse James Merritt II, and her husband, Kenneth Wayne Cubbage, Sr. who died in June of this year.

Delores is survived by her mother, Mary Frances Wren Merritt of Murfreesboro, TN; sons, Jeremy Wayne Fortner and David Shawn Fortner both of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Vickie Richardson of Bristol, TN; step-son, Kenneth Wayne Cubbage, Jr. of Seymour, IN; step-daughter, Anna Marie Davis of Seymour, IN; sister, Patricia Bajcar of Nashville, TN; brother, Jesse Merritt of Hohenwald, TN; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 5:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Radford officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Delores was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother.
