Explore holidays around the world at the Discovery Center during our annual 25 Days of Discovery. The series of events kicks off with the Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec.1, and wraps up with the biggest pajama party in Murfreesboro on Dec. 31 at our Countdown to Noon celebration! All Access Night

All Access Nights are a time for special needs families to enjoy the Discovery Center’s exhibits and programs. Join us for special holiday-themed programming during our 25 Days of Discovery, including an optional meet and greet with Santa! All Access Nights are sponsored by Jackson National Life. Winter Break Camp
Dec. 21, 27, 28; Jan. 3, 4
When school is out, camp is in! The Discovery Center incorporates fun, hands-on, inquiry-based learning into all of our camps. Campers are divided into different age groups each with their own camp counselor and age-appropriate lessons packed with hands-on games and activities designed to help campers learn, socialize and have fun! The theme for Winter Break Camp will be ‘Opposites Attract,’ with themes such as Fire and Ice, Light and Dark, and Realism and Abstract. Info & registration»
Countdown to Noon
Monday, Dec. 31 | 10 a.m – 2 p.m.
Join us as we ring in 2019 with the biggest pajama party in Murfreesboro! We’ll officially kick off 2019 with fun New Year’s activities like karaoke, Wii dance party, a resolution wall, special art and tinkering projects, and the iconic balloon drop at noon! Clifford the Big Red Dog

Our newest exhibit Adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog is now open! Hop aboard the Birdwell Island ferry and journey to the world of Clifford, America’s beloved big red dog. Inspired by Scholastic’s top-rated TV show Clifford the Big Red Dog on PBS Kids, the exhibit offers numerous immersive ‘paws-on’ adventures that reinforce Clifford‘s big ideas.
