Doris Jean Gallagher Obituary
Doris Jean Gallagher, age 71 of Shelbyville, TN, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023. A native of Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Wilson. She was also preceded in death by a sister Beverly Wilson and a brother James Wilson.
Mrs. Gallagher is survived by her husband, William Gallagher; mother, Ruby Mae Wilson of Charlotte, NC; sons, Daniel White and his wife Misty Jo of Marion, AR, David White of Shelbyville, TN, William Gallagher, III and his wife Jill of Colorado Springs, CO, and Edward Gallagher of Gloversville, NY; daughters, Barbara Duplantis and her husband Justin of Lake Charles, LA and Lisa Gallagher of Gloversville, NY; sisters, Nancy Phillips of Sylva, NC and Mary Therrell of Charlotte, NC; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN, with David White officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Gallagher was a retired Evidence Technician with the Murfreesboro Police Department.
