Earl Ray Cantrell obituary

Earl Ray Cantrell, age 64 of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. A native of Livingston, TN, he was born on April 7, 1956 to Ruby Dishman Cantrell of Gallatin, TN, and the late J. B. “Bud” Cantrell.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cheryl Leon Cantrell; most beloved son, Chad Cantrell and his loving wife Phoebe Cantrell of Murfreesboro, TN; most treasured love that filled his heart, granddaughter, Imogene Cantrell of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Ruby Dishman Cantrell of Gallatin, TN; sisters, Helen “Susie” Abbott and her husband Randall of Livingston, TN, and Betty Bailey of White House, TN; brother, David Cantrell and his wife Amanda of Portland, TN; mother-in-law, Jean Leon of Mt.. Juliet, TN; brothers-in-law, Les Leon and his wife Jen, Brian Leon and his wife Jill, Tracy Leon and his wife Michelle all of Ohio, and Joe Leon of Mt. Juliet, TN.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Edgar Boles officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
