Early Voting Gets Underway in La Vergne

October 14 is the first day of early voting for the country and there’s a spot in La Vergne where you can stop in to make your voice heard.

The La Vergne Multi-purpose building is serving as an early voting center for anyone in Rutherford County who is ready to cast their ballot. The early voting center is open from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. For a full list of voting centers or for a sample ballot visit the Rutherford County Election Commission’s website.

“We encourage every citizen to come out and vote,” says Mayor Jason Cole. “This is your civic duty, for all Americans. Every vote counts and can have an impact, especially at your local city level.”

Early voting continues through October 29. Election Day is November 3.
