This is our 3rd Annual “Ramadan 30 Days of Giving”.
The idea is for The Murfreesboro Muslim Youth to do one or more act(s) of community service daily during Ramadan (the month of fasting for Muslims).

This is a youth dinner @ Milano to talk about how to start Ramadan, answer questions about Ramadan, and discuss and finalize our activities in the 30 days of giving.

We will design, print, and distribute a complete prayer calendar for Ramadan free. It will also include our activities list.

FEEDING THE HUNGRY DAILY May 25th to June 24th

MMY plans to collect and distribute nonperishable food items, and donate them to the Greenhouse Ministries & other local food pantries. Our target is 1000 cans or more.
Recipient for this year are The Cupboard and Last Call 4 Grace Ministries, Inc.

1st Annual Community Appreciation Iftar JUNE 10th

We will be holding a community Iftar at Double Tree. It is aimed to honor, connect, and recognize community organizations in Murfreesboro in the spirit of the month of Giving.

PERSONAL CARE KITS
ACTIVITY LEADER: Reman
HOW TO HELP: Donate to this case or help us assemble on 06-18.

MMY plans to assemble around 2000 personal care items. We will then distribute to local shelters and people in need in Murfreesboro.
Items will include personal hygiene products, personal care items, and emergency needs.
We plan to pack on 06-18 before our Refugee Iftar.

REFUGEES GIFTS

MMY plans to provide food box at the start of Ramadan to each family.
We will also provide one computer for each refugee family in Murfreesboro that has a school age child by EID.
Cost per Food box is $75.
Cost per Desktop is $140.

YOUTH DAY OF GIVING JUNE 2nd & JUNE 18th
ACTIVITY LEADER: Ayman and Anas
HOW TO HELP: Attend pr sponosr Iftar for that day.

On these days, we plan to hold a special activity of giving, extra volunteering, educational event, Quran activity and joint Iftar.
06-02 will be at Barfield Park, Pavilion 1 from 6 PM.
06-18 will be at Patterson Park Dinning Room from 6 pm.
Both events will have food provided by us.

IFTAR WITH THE REFUGEES: JUNE 18th

MMY will hold one joint Iftar with the Murfreesboro refugee families on 06-18 @ Barfield Park.
Food will be provided by the MMY for everyone.
