The Boro Art Crawl on the Downtown Square

First Friday of the month means the Square opens up. Galleries, shops and pop-up spaces around downtown Murfreesboro host local artists and makers for three hours, and the whole thing is free to walk.

It is explicitly kid- and family-friendly — there are children's activities in the mix along with information booths and food trucks — and the format suits families better than a ticketed event does, because you set your own pace and leave when someone has had enough. Started by local artists in 2015, it now runs the first Friday of every month from March through November.
