About:
This is a two-part workshop dedicated to educating the public on helping cats in middle Tennessee. In the first part, we will discuss the effectiveness of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and living with community cats. The second part is a basic overview of common cat behavior problems and how to avoid/alleviate them to prevent cats from being surrendered or abandoned.
Cat rescue volunteers, pet parents, and community cat lovers will walk away with the basic tools and knowledge they need to effectively reduce the number of homeless cats. Sources used in this class will come from the Humane Society of the United States Cat Behavior & Retention program and Alley Cat Allies TNR information.
***This event is not sponsored by the Linebaugh Public Library System, HSUS, or ACA
We hope to see you there!
