Celebrate Christmas Downtown!

Join us for a night full of family fun and holiday cheer! With free children’s events and a beautiful program, this has become a beloved Murfreesboro tradition held on the Historic Downtown Courthouse square.
Our one-hour program, beginning at 6 p.m., will feature the Center for the Arts, Homer Pittard Campus School, Salem Elementary School, The Dancers School, and the debut of the Christmas Community Choir. The community choir will feature local downtown churches’ children and adult choirs in a combined performance. The Christmas Community Choir is being sponsored by First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro TN and Trinity Presbyterian Church (PCA) – Murfreesboro, TN.
Kid-friendly activities before and after our program will include making reindeer food, ornaments, and writing letters to Santa.
Pictures with Santa – Join us in the courthouse after the program! Bring your camera for a free sitting with Santa and hear Christmas stories from guest readers. Special thanks to the lawyers downtown for sponsoring Santa and Mrs. Claus!
“Movie Under the Stars” from Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation – “Polar Express” will be starting at 7:30 p.m.! Food vendors will be available for a warm snack before and during the movie (funnel cakes, hot dogs, and kettle corn).
Shops will be open until 9:00 P.M. showcasing the Main Street’s Holiday Window Tour and Contest, sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union. Make sure to stroll around the square and see the beautiful window displays, while getting your holiday shopping done! Check out how to vote for your favorite window display and enter in a chance to win $100!
National Dance Clubs of Murfreesboro will be showcasing at 5:40 p.m. and giving free dance lessons at 7:30 p.m.
