Pop and Jazz collide! Jennifer Bruce and DejaNu are an exciting group in Nashville. Much like the classic songs from the “Great American Songbook”, the group plays songs from “The New American Songbook”, comprised of the best of classic pop songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. We take the audience on a ride down memory lane with fresh jazz arrangements of music from such great artists and composers such as Carole King, Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper, Blondie, The Everly Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Hall and Oats, The Captain and Tenille, as well as a new take on the music from the classic American Songbook composers such as Ellington, Gershwin, Cole Porter and VanHusen.
