Magic Returns to the ‘Boro

The Walnut House, Murfreesboro’s fastest growing event center, will host their first evening of magic on Friday, August 23^rd. Located at 116 North Walnut Street, just a block off the square, The Walnut House management is thrilled to be bringing magic back to the ‘boro.

The show will be headlined by world-class magical entertainer Alan Fisher. The featured artists will be The Magic of David Williams. Serving as Master of Ceremonies will be David Scott.

Alan Fisher is a magician, comedian, actor, master of ceremonies . . . and entertainer and has been one for over 50 years. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Point Park University, starred for 6 years in the national tour of the smash-hit off-Broadway show “Big Bad Burlesque”, and headlined in comedy clubs for 8 years. He’s appeared on The Nashville Network, in the made-for-TV movie “The 10 Million Dollar Getaway”, and the feature film “Bob Roberts”. In 2017 he was a finalist at the North American Championship of Magic and earned an invitation to compete in 2018 in the triennial World Championship of Magic that was held that year in South Korea. As a result he is currently ranked in the top 100 magicians in the world. In his category of Parlor Magic he is ranked 9^th in the world and 2^nd in the US. He is the 2019 President of The Middle Tennessee Magic Club, Ring 252 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Fisher is also a member of the Society of American Magicians, Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques, and the invitation only slight-of-hand gathering Fechter’s Finger Flicking Frolics.

David Williams’ special brand of award-winning magic, comedy, and more is always a big hit at private parties, corporate events, banquets, conventions . . . wherever he performs. He’s been entertaining audiences since he was 13 years old.  David is a Past President and the current Vice President of The Middle Tennessee Magic Club, Ring 252 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He is also a member of The Society of American Magicians and The Fellowship of Christian Magicians.

With over 9 years of performing Magic and Comedy, David is a legend in his own mind. He has entertained the young and not so young alike. He has had the opportunity and has performed for Country Music Royalty.  David is regular cast member of The Viva NashVegas Radio Show, which can be seen live at Kimbro’s Cafe in Downtown Franklin, TN and is streamed live on Ustream. He is a past President and the current SSgt-At-Arms of The Middle Tennessee Magic Club, Ring 252 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
