Murfreesboro Park Day Squad Boss Training

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!

We’re looking for people willing to help us make our Park Day 2017 Volunteer Event a success by leading small groups of 5-6 volunteers in our work to remove invasive exotic plants and trash from Fortress Rosecrans, Old Fort Park and the Lytle Creek Greenway. We’re expecting more than 200 volunteers for this event so we will need 30 Squad Bosses to help us manage all that work.

All training sessions will begin at the park maintenance area located at the end of the road that is directly across the Old Nashville Highway from the gate to the visitor center parking lot. Please let us know you’re coming by calling 615-893-9501 or emailing us at stri_administration@nps.gov.
