November 12, 2019 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am
The Grass is Green: Navigating the Challenges of the Gender & Racial Landscape in Corporate America
with Rita P. Mitchell & Brittany Mitchell
The topic, The Grass is Green: Navigating the challenges of the gender and racial landscape in corporate America is coming from the 4th chapter of my new book, Own Your Phenomenal Self. Britt is CMO of my company, Rita P. Mitchell, LLC, wrote the forward to the book and also helped in the creative and editing process of the finished product. In addition, a good portion of the book came from the day-to-day advice that I was giving her and others that I continue to mentor in the navigation to career success in today’s corporate landscape. She is an accomplished speaker in her own right and we present together whenever it is doable, luckily she will be in town the week of this event for client meetings. For your reference, we presented last month to the Junior League of Columbia, SC for the kick-off of their new Diversity & Inclusion strategy…400 + members attended and I am happy to provide you with a reference to the quality/content of our speaking jointly. Britt, who is 33, will speak from the perspective of our target market…young women 25-45, who are ambitious, highly motivated, and who want to do good in the world… and I will speak from the perspective of a woman who has navigated and achieved success over a 40 year career in the male dominated financial services industry. Britt lives and works in NYC so it is not always doable that I can coordinate with her schedule but she will be in town that week. Us speaking together it is always a treat and more powerful to the audience. Let me know if you would like to discuss by phone.
