Pack The Murph – MT vs Old Dominion

One of the top twenty five teams in America. First place in Conference USA. The best team in Tennessee. Our Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders are on a roll, currently undefeated in CUSA play and 19-3 overall. The last two games at home saw increasing crowds of 5,500 for Southern Miss and 8,000 for Louisiana Tech. Our goal for the game against Old Dominion? SOLD OUT crowd of 11,500 plus for “Mardi Gras Night” against the Monarchs! It’s time to Pack The Murph. Here’s what needs to happen.
1) Bring all of your families and friends to the game. The Murphy Center seats around 12,000 at overflow capacity, which is about 4% of Rutherford County. If we all bring along 2 or 3 more people, we will sell out the arena easily. If you are in a church, civic, or work group please ask your friends and coworkers to attend the game. Group tickets are available at a discounted rate!
2) Get your tickets EARLY for the ODU game. They will sell quickly, so make sure you aren’t waiting in long lines on gameday! You can print them at home for free via the official Blue Raider Ticket Office website linked on this event page or pick them up at will call on gameday. Tickets are $13 each, and group tickets (20+) are available for $7. Student guest tickets are also $7.
3) On gameday, be sure to arrive early to ensure you are able to find parking as well as get to your seat with plenty of time to cheer the Raiders on during warm ups and create another electric atmosphere. We are asking that fans show up at 6:30 or earlier if possible to pump up the players. The 7pm tip off time allows for more time for fans to make it in from work.
The last sellout crowd at the Murphy Center was on November 21, 2008 as the Raiders fell to the Tennessee Volunteers. Nearly a decade later, it’s time for the next sellout – and this time, a win as well. Help us make it happen. Invite your friends to this event page to spread the word.
