Park Day 2017 Volunteer Event

How would you like to spend a Saturday morning helping preserve part of our nation’s history while getting a free lunch and a t-shirt? Stones River National Battlefield calls upon our friends and neighbors to join us and our partners at Picnic Pavilion #2 in Old Fort Park on Saturday April 1, 2017 as we work to remove trash and invasive exotic plants from Fortress Rosecrans, Old Fort Park and the Lytle Creek Greenway.
Registration Begins: 8:30 AM
Lunch Provided by the Friends of the Stones River National Battlefield and Walmart: 12:30 PM
Volunteers should wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. We also recommend you bring your own work gloves and water bottles.
