Tattooing In Antiquity by Aaron Deter-Wolf Free/Open to Public

Archaeologists have long known that past human cultures practiced tattooing. However, it is only over the past decade that the importance and extent of those traditions has become widely accepted. You do not want to miss the presentation of “Tattooing in Antiquity,” by the Tennessee Division of Archaeology’s Aaron Deter-Wolf, an internationally recognized authority on ancient tattoos. His presentation will cover recent discoveries in tattoo archaeology, including his research into ancient Native American tools.
