“The Art of Harmony”: Exhibit of Classical Chinese Paintings of Xie Weiqiang

A hidden beauty of the world is revealed through the Chinese brush paintings of the Weuiqiang. Although a contemporary fine artist from China, Xie is well known for his expertise in the classical Chinese style of painting. These exquisite paintings show the natural balance of bright feathered birds and colorful flowers. A workshop on the basic techniques of Chinese paintings will take place on Feb. 23rd from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm featuring Dr. Guanping Zheng, director of the Confucius Institute at MTSU.
