Winter Wonderland Hike & Cocoa

Bundle up and join us on a guided hike along a portion of Barfield’s Marshall Knob Trail and the Rocky Trail (approximately 2.25 miles). We will discover intriguing landforms and fossils, winter vegetation, and keep our eyes open for signs of local wildlife. These trails are of moderate difficulty, as we will cover gradual inclines/declines, cross over crevices, rocky terrain, and raised tree roots. We will wrap up our time together by enjoying a hot cup of cocoa and sharing our personal discoveries and inspirations while out on the trail. Please wear appropriate attire and feel free to bring along binoculars, a walking stick, or a nature journal. Registration is required and can be done so via the contact information below.
