Wiseacre Tap Takeover

Wiseacre Brewery is a unique brewery out of Memphis, Tennessee. They are committed to top quality and flavorful beers. Their goal is to appeal to passionate and progressive people. Their story starts in 1997, two friends stole their parents car and drove to Sam Adams Brewery while still in high school and that is when they were first introduced to small batched beer. After 6 years they attend Oktoberfest together which is when truly fell in love with beer and every aspect involved with it. From there they have grown and researched to make sure that their brewery would create a top-notch experience for everyone that came and enjoyed their beers.

We will have 4 to choose from. The Tiny Bomb American Pilsner is a Czech Republic style. It uses the German and American pilsner malt combine with 50 lbs. of local wildflower honey to add a delicate aroma of clover. The finish is crisp and smooth. With only 4.5 ABV, this is a pilsner that is meant to be enjoyed throughout the year. The Ananda IPA is the ancient word for Sankrit which means bliss. That is exactly what this beer is, blissful. It is dry-hopped for a subtle citrus hoppy aroma. Malted and flanked wheat created a “velvety” texture. The most popular beer that we have ever had is the Gotta Get Up to Get Down Coffee Milk Stout. It is a mouthful to say but it is worth it. With the use of rare Konga coffee beans from Ethiopia and lactose with oats which leads to a silky medium body and lush finish. Their seasonal has been describe as one of the best Oktoberfest beers that you can get without going to German. It is the classic style with the precision that Wiseacre is known for. It has a smooth, malty finish and is just oh so good.
