Exhibit closing: Clifford the Big Red Dog at Discovery Center
Discovery Center visitors have one last chance to see the Adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog exhibit before it closes on Sunday, Jan. 27.
Guests can hop aboard the Birdwell Island ferry and journey to the world of Clifford, America’s beloved big red dog. Inspired by Scholastic’s top-rated TV show Clifford the Big Red Dog on PBS Kids, the exhibit offers numerous immersive ‘paws-on’ adventures that reinforce Clifford’s big ideas.
The exhibit is included with admission and free for members.
Free day for furloughed federal employees
In addition, the Discovery Center will offer free admission on Sunday, Jan. 27, for federal employees and contractors affected by the partial government shutdown, along with up to three guests.
To receive free admission, furloughed employees and contractors must show a valid federal ID or badge upon entry to the Discovery Center on Jan. 27, during the museum’s normal Sunday operating hours (1 to 5 p.m.) Federal employees and contractors can bring up to three guests to take advantage of this offer.
