FACT INVESTIGATION FROM THIS WEEKEND

On Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 0523 AM, a fatal crash occurred at 4832 S.E. Broad Street. This crash involved a single vehicle that left the roadway, struck two brick mailboxes, and rolled over.   The driver was identified as Mr. Benjamin Brenton-Munoz (see below).

Vehicle #1 (White, 1998 Toyota Corolla, 4 door, Tn. License # K24-73L) was traveling Southeast on Broad St.  The vehicle drifted out of its lane and then off the roadway.  The vehicle struck two brick mailboxes and rolled over onto it’s roof.   The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.  A female passenger in the vehicle was also seriously injured in the crash.  She was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital by Life flight.
