Free Community Recycling Event coming to Smyrna

Looking for a great reason to clean out your home before the holidays? Join Nissan and the Tennessee Environmental Council’s (TEC) Recycling Roundup – a free event where you can responsibly recycle or donate hard-to-recycle items!

Event Details:

Nissan Drive, Smyrna, TN at Gate 5
Saturday, November 15, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Free and open to the public (suggested donation: $10–$25)

What Can You Bring?
We’re accepting a wide variety of items, including:

  • Mattresses, tires, electronics, Styrofoam blocks, scrap metal
  • Clothing, textiles, cardboard, glass bottles, alkaline batteries, ink cartridges
  • Medications (collected by law enforcement) and documents for secure shredding

New this year:
Clean pet supplies, torn/tattered socks, donatable medical supplies, crayons, tennis balls, sports equipment, gently used books, household goods, canned goods, pumpkins, compost, and eyeglasses.

Volunteer Opportunities
We’re looking for volunteers to help make this event a success!
Shifts range from 3.5 to 6.5 hours. Group and individual sign-ups are welcome.
