Gary “Randy” Mobley obituary

Gary “Randy” Mobley, age 66 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was born in Columbia, MS and was a son of the late James Mobley and Dee Mobley of Murfreesboro who survives him. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Russel Mobley.

Additional survivors include his wife, Valerie Mobley; children, Nick Mobley and wife Courtney, Justin Mobley, Amy Ragsdale and husband Jordan, all of Murfreesboro, and Cole Wyatt of Nashville; grandchildren, Samuel, Sophia, and Asa Mobley, Emma Cole Ragsdale and Jayden Davis; sisters, Rhonda Summar and husband Brian and Sandra Arnold and husband David, all of Murfreesboro; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Randy was a charter member of Northside Baptist Church and proud alumnus of Allen County High School, Scottsville, KY class of 1972. He was a lifelong fan of the New Orleans Saints and founder and president of Cablelink Solutions. Randy loved nothing more than spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Grandad and Grandy were his favorite titles and he could often be found enjoying a visit to the local ice cream shop with one of his beloved grandchildren.

Public visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2021 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A private graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
