Goblins and Goodies at the Park

The annual trick-or-treating event “Goblins and Goodies at the Park” will be on October 26th, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the walking trail at Veterans Memorial Park located at 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive.

The free trick-or-treating event gives kids and families a safe environment to enjoy Halloween fun. Kids and families are invited to dress up and come prepared with empty bags and pillow cases to collect as much candy as they can.

Local businesses will be set up handing out candy from booths near the playground. For safety reasons, all participants are asked to arrive and be set up no later than 11:30 a.m. and remain in their spots until the event concludes at 3:00 p.m. No alcoholic beverages permitted. There is no charge to participate. From past experience, we expect a high turnout and therefore suggest you bring plenty of candy to share with trick-or-treaters.
