James Tollerson obituary

Mr. James Tollerson, age 71, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. He was born in Gainesville, FL to the late James Charles, Sr. and Iliene Bridges Tollerson. Mr. Tollerson was a diehard Republican and staunch Constitutionalist. He was a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in McMinnville, TN. Mr. Tollerson proudly served his country in the United States Army before becoming an R.N. He worked at the Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro for over 30 years. Mr. Tollerson was an environmentalist and loved the outdoors, hiking and fishing. He enjoyed all kinds of music.

Mr. Tollerson is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carol Tollerson; daughters, Larissa Smith, Danielle Smith and her husband Don, Kristin Nugent, and Melissa Smith and her husband Jerry; step-daughters, Debra Galligani Ross and her husband Blake and Jessica Galligani; step-son, Anthony Galligani; brothers, Thom Tollerson and David Tollerson; sister, Kathy Tollerson; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was a loving father and good friend to all.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in McMinnville at later date.
